ゴールデンサークルが南のベスト盤なら、ダイヤモンドサークルは北のそれ——足を延ばした多くの旅人が、こちらの方が上だとさえ言います。北東アイスランドを巡る約250kmのこの周回は、驚くべき自然の連続を結びます。ヨーロッパ最強の滝、世界屈指のホエールウォッチングの湾、溶岩と偽クレーターに囲まれた湖、そして北欧伝説の馬蹄形の峡谷——どれも混み合う南よりずっと静かです。
