Ylja is the on-site restaurant at Laugarás Lagoon in the village of Laugarás on Iceland's Golden Circle. The kitchen is led by Icelandic chef Gísli Matthías Auðunsson (Gísli Matt), formerly of Slippurinn in Vestmannaeyjar. Ylja serves a seasonal menu built around Icelandic ingredients and produce from local farms, fisheries and geothermal greenhouses. Guests can visit Ylja as part of a lagoon day or book the restaurant directly, with day, evening and group menus available.
