📖 History

雷克霍特是斯诺里·斯图鲁森（Snorri Sturluson，1179-1241 年）的故乡，斯诺里·斯图鲁森是中世纪斯堪的纳维亚文学中最重要的人物之一。他撰写了散文《埃达》（挪威神话的重要来源）、《Heimskringla》（挪威国王的历史），并被认为是《埃吉尔斯传奇》的作者。他的温泉池 Snorralaug 是冰岛已知最古老的人造建筑之一。 1241 年，斯诺里在一场政治权力斗争中在自家地窖中被暗杀。
