"Ríða þeir til Ljósavatns um kveldið. (9) Síðan ríða þeir upp til Ljósavatns og sögðu Þorgeiri frænda sínum tíðindin og hverja sæmd hann hafði fengið. (10) Bárður stýrimaður fór til Ljósavatns og þá vist með Þorgeiri goða. (26) Svo er sagt að eftir þingið fara þau Finnbogi til Ljósavatns því að Þorgeir vildi eigi að þau væru út þar. (27) Síðan fór Finnbogi heim til Ljósavatns og sátu þar um veturinn í góðum náðum. (29) Hún kvað þá farið hafa eftir hugboði sínu þá er hún fór frá Ljósavatni. (29) Síðan fór hann norður til Ljósavatns og segir Þorgeiri frænda sínum þessi tíðindi. (36) Það var einn tíma að þau Finnbogi og Hallfríður ríða norður til Ljósavatns. (36) Eftir það búa þeir ferð sína og létta eigi fyrr en þeir koma til Ljósavatns."
