"Höskuldur lenti í Laxárósi, lætur þar bera farm af skipi sínu en setja upp skipið fyrir innan Laxá og gerir þar hróf að og sér þar tóftina sem hann lét gera hrófið. (14) Þeir sigla vestan útnyrðing hvassan og lenda í Laxárósi um kveldið, setja upp ferjuna en fara á Goddastaði um kveldið og koma ekki á óvart. (29) Þeim byrjaði vel og tóku Breiðafjörð, bera nú bryggjur á land í Laxárósi. (30) Síðan býr hann skipið og siglir út úr Laxárósi léttan landnyrðing og fellur veðrið er þeir koma út að eyjum."
