"Helgi hét bróðir Styrkárs er land keypti að Hjöllum í Þorskafirði. (14) Þórir seldi landið að Uppsölum Þorgerði í Þorgeirsdal því að hún þóttist eigi búa mega fyrir beitingum Helga af Hjöllum. (14) Með þeim Eyjólfi í Múla og Helga á Hjöllum var fjandskapur mikill um beiting og beittu Hjallamenn fyrir Eyjólfi bæði tún og eng. (14) Hey mikið lá á vellinum um daginn er hirða skyldi en naut Helga af Hjöllum gengu í. (14) Þeir voru allir á laun á Hjöllum og sátu um Þóri. (17) Hann kemur á Hjalla til Helga og skorar á hann til vistar. (17) Þórir hljóp eftir Helga og elti hann út til Kálfár og vó hann undir Helgasteini út frá Hjöllum."
