"Kona heitir Guðrún og er frændkona bóndans að Bægisá og er þar matselja fyrir búi. (13) Og þar kom Guðmundur og brá bónda þegar á eintal, frá Bægisá, og mælti: „Þorsteinn heitir maður er upp hefir fæðst með oss og höfum vér hann að góðu reynt.“ (13) Síðan var á kveðið um brullaupsstefnu og skal vera að Bægisá."
