(28) Einn af þeim var Auðunn er þá bjó á Auðunarstöðum í Víðidal. (28) Af því gerir Grettir heiman ferð sína á Auðunarstaði. (28) Grettir kom snemma dags á Auðunarstaði og drap á dyr. (34) Og er mjög var komið að veturnóttum reið Grettir heiman norður yfir hálsa til Víðidals og gisti á Auðunarstöðum. (34) Auðunn bjó lengi á Auðunarstöðum og var kynsæll maður."
