About Stampar
Stampar eru tveir allstæðilegir gígar í norðurenda Stampa-gígaraðarinnar. Hún er hluti af Yngra Stampahrauni sem var eitt hrauna Reykjaneselda sem runnu 1210 - 1240. Gígaröðin er alls um 4 km löng og flatarmál hraunsins 4,6 km2. Til að komast að Stömpum er ekið eftir Nesvegi um 2,5 km til norðurs frá Rauðhólum. Örstutt ganga er frá vegi í Stampana.
