(8) Þaðan riðu þeir til Herðibreiðstungu og svo fyrir ofan Bláfjöll og þaðan í Króksdal og svo suður á Sand og komu ofan í Sandafell og þaðan á Þingvöll, og var þar Hrafnkell eigi kominn, og fórst honum því seinna, að hann átti lengri leið."
