"Þórey var á fóstri á þeim bæ er heitir í Kálfaholti með þeim manni er Jósteinn hét, gildur bóndi. (19) Hann bjó skammt frá Kálfaholti. (19) Hann venur komur sínar í Kálfaholt á fund Guðrúnar systur þeirra Starkaðar og Kols. (19) Um morguninn eftir fór Þorgils austur til bús Kols - hann átti bú austur hjá Kálfaholti - og tók upp féið allt og lét fara Guðrúnu með sér en lét eftir ómegð aðra. (20) Jósteinn bóndi úr Kálfaholti réðst og til ferðar með honum og brá búi sínu."
