(8) Mun eg ríða til Hóla upp og þiggja heimboð að Þorsteini bróður mínum. (8) En Glúmur reið upp til Hóla og segir bróður sínum engi tíðindi. (14) Einn dag hafði Glúmur riðið upp til Hóla og er hann reið ofan til Saurbæjar kom þar í móti honum Þjóðólfur."
