(48) Hann átti Ragnhildi Þórðardóttur Þorgilssonar arnar en Þorgils örn var sonur Hallsteins goða af Hallsteinsnesi er þrælana átti.Gísla saga Súrssonar (28) Þeir fara nú með honum á Hallsteinsnes.Gull-Þóris saga (1) Hallsteinn son Þórólfs Mostrarskeggja nam allan Þorskafjörð fyrir vestan og bjó á Hallsteinsnesi.Laxdæla saga (34) Í þenna tíma bjó Hallsteinn goði á Hallsteinsnesi fyrir vestan Þorskafjörð."
