"Þeir ríða út yfir Ós og ofan í heiði þar er heitir Gönguskarð í víkinni. (17) Vil eg að þú ríðir út til Óss og ofan í Gönguskarð til hellis þess er þér eruð vanir að hafa náttból um haustum þá er þér gangið á fjall og vit við hvað þú verður þar var. (17) Sauðamaður ríður ofan til Óss og ofan í Gönguskarð. (18) Eftir það ráðast þeir til ferðar, fara út fyrir neðan Sandbrekku og svo út til Óss og upp í heiði til Gönguskarðs uns þeir koma svo upp að ein brekka var eftir."
