"Gísl nef nam Gilsfjörð og bjó að Kleifum. (9) En er Þórir fór í brott með konu sína þá fara menn út með Gilsfirði til Saurbæjar, þeir er að boðinu voru, og fundu sauðamann úr Ólafsdal og sögðu honum gjaforðið Ingibjargar. (12) Einhverju sinni átti Þórir leið inn í Gilsfjörð til Kleifa. (15) Þeir voru tveir tigir saman er þeir riðu inn með Gilsfirði. (15) Þeir Ólafur og Þorgeir gengu á skip við nokkurum mönnum og reru yfir Gilsfjörð og lentu við Langeyri út frá Gróstöðum og héldu þaðan njósnum um ferðir Þóris."
