(6) Brött heiðarbrekka var upp úr dalnum Gervidal þar sem þjóðleið liggur.Grettis saga (52) Þaðan fór hann inn til Gervidals. (52) Þá báðu þeir Þorkel í Gervidal við honum að taka, kváðu hann vera nógtarmann."
