"Þórsmörk has a spot in every Icelander's heart. There's just nothing like it..."
The tour starts from our base, Brú Basecamp by Road 249. After a short briefing where your guide takes you through safety procedures, we dress up in a waterproof snow/whole suit and helmet and hop into our buggy ride.

Þórsmörk is an incredibly beautiful nature reserve, situated in the heart of south Icelan,d nestled among the glaciers Eyjafjallajökull, Mýrdalsjökull, and Tindfjallajökull.

This is the perfect tour to explore the wonders of Þórsmörk while experiencing an adventurous buggy ride adventure.

We will also visit Gígjökull glacier where we observe the effects of the 2010 Eyjafjallajökull eruption and breathe in the purifying glacial air.

Þórsmörk is a spectacular place to visit, it has it's own kind of feel to it. It is Icelandic nature to the core.

Join an amazing highland adventure on this adrenaline-driven tour to Thorsmork! There is no better way to visit this highland treasure than in a 4×4 buggy. The hidden valley of Thor is truly a natural gem and every Icelander’s favorite place to be.

Þórsmörk buggy tour is a unique way to enjoy the Icelandic nature, and covers some waterfalls and gravel road driving. A stunning natural playground for the next few hours, as you test out your buggy surrounded by amazing scenery that only Iceland can offer.

A shared ride’ is when two people share one buggy. Each buggy can take 1-2 people at a time. If you book ‘shared rides’ only and bookings are in odd numbers, you will need to buy one single ride, be sure to book this correctly in the booking process below.

If this is not booked correctly, we will charge the extra fee on location.
