A secluded waterfall reached on one of the established longer hikes from Þakgil.

The hike climbs out of Þakgil and crosses into Remundargil before following the ravine toward the waterfall. On the return route, higher ground provides views toward Kötlujökull and the Mýrdalsjökull ice cap. It is a proper hiking objective rather than a roadside waterfall.

The surrounding moss in the canyon is so lush due to the constant mist from the waterfall, creating a unique microclimate.
