About Brautartunga
Við Brautartungu í Lundarreykjadal er félagsheimili, sundlaug og þingstaður sveitarinnar. Hús og sundlaug á staðnum eru hituð upp með jarðvarma sem kemur úr Brautartunguhver en í honum er allt að 95°C hiti (1). Búið er að veita Tunguá frá hvernum því áður flæddi hún upp í hverinn í flóðum og kældi hann. Sundlaugin við Brautartungu var byggð um 1940. Þetta er steyp útisundlaug, 12,5 x 6 m að stærð. Við laugina eru tveir búningsklefar (2).
