The iconic arrowhead-shaped mountain on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula appeared as the Arrowhead Mountain north of the Wall in Game of Thrones Season 7. One of the most photographed mountains in Iceland.

UNESCO World Heritage site where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet. Used as the Eyrie exterior in Game of Thrones and for Silfra fissure diving scenes.

The volcanic landscape around Lake Mývatn doubled as the lands beyond the Wall and Hardhome in Game of Thrones. The geothermal lava formations of Dimmuborgir and the Námaskarð mud pools were both used extensively.
