Lóndrangar es un par de antiguos tapones volcánicos que se elevan espectacularmente desde el mar en la costa sur de Snæfellsnes. El pináculo más alto alcanza los 75 m y el más corto 61 m. Estas columnas de basalto son restos de un cráter volcánico que ha sido erosionado por el mar durante millones de años. El área circundante tiene una plataforma de observación con vistas panorámicas de Snæfellsjökull y la costa, y es el hogar de fulmares, gaviotas y cuervos que anidan.
The surrounding area has a viewing platform with sweeping views of Snæfellsjökull and the coastline, and is home to nesting fulmars, kittiwakes and ravens.
