„Sú munnmælasaga hefur gengið að enn megi sjá leifar nausts í Árnesi þar sem skipið Trékyllir var smíðað. Skipið á að hafa verið byggt af Norðmönnum úr leifum skips þeirra sem strandaði í Trékyllisvík á landnámsöld. Tóttirnar eru tvær og er önnur stærri og greinilegri. Hún hefur ýmist verið nefnd Trékyllisnaust eða Flosanaust eftir Flosa syni Eiríks snöru landnámsmanns í Trékyllisvík sem bjó í Vík á þeim tíma. Minjarnar voru friðlýstar árið 1930.“
