The Þingvellir National Park campsite provides a practical base for exploring the UNESCO-listed landscape around Þingvellir. From the camping area, visitors can reach the park's walking routes, historic assembly sites, Almannagjá and other features of the rift valley. Camping is only permitted in designated areas and visitors should follow current national-park rules, seasonal opening information and campsite instructions.
