About Stríðsminjar á Garðaholti

„Á Garðaholti er urmull stríðsminja, bæði utan í holtinu og efst á því. Þar er jafnframt fallegur trjálundur hjónanna Sigurðar Þorkelssonar og Kristínar Gestsdóttur í Grænagarði. Utan í holtinu eru skotgrafir á nokkrum stöðum, austast á því má sjá leifar af húsum og efst á holtinu eru garðar, skjól og skotgrafir. Stutt er þaðan niður í Gálgahraun.“
