Staðarrétt stendur í víðum hvammi utan við Langholt, ofan við bæinn Reynistað. Reynistaður var stórbýli að fornu en þar hafa m.a. verið rekin jarlssetur og nunnuklaustur auk þess sem hinir frægur Reynistaðabræður komu þaðan (1). Réttin er spennandi viðkomustaður á haustin en þar eru haldnar bæði stóð- og sauðfjárréttir (2).
