Skaftafell Svartifoss Trail

The Svartifoss route is one of the best-known marked walks in Skaftafell. It climbs from the visitor area toward the waterfall, where dark basalt columns form the distinctive cliff behind the cascade. Visitors should follow current national-park trail information, especially when paths are icy or wet.
