„Nesbjörg kallast 4 km langur bjargrani milli Sigríðarstaðavatns og Hópsins. Nesbjörg eru úr grágrýtishraunum sem talin eru hafa runnið úr Borgarvirki. Endar raninn nyrst í þunnum klettafleyg, Bjargatá. Björgin eru víðast 50 - 80 m há, hæstur er Stórhóll, algert þverhnípi.“ 13 km löng gönguleið liggur í hring um nesið, upphaf hennar er á veginum fyrir neðan Sigríðarstaði. Auðveld ganga, að hluta til á gömlum vegi.
