About Lundur Stíflu
Lundur er fæðingarstaður Guðrúnar Baldvinu Árnadóttur, skáldkonu frá Lundi. Hún bjó á Lundi fyrstu ellefu æviár sín. „Í viðtölum talar Guðrún af alúð um æskuheimili sitt, Lund, og þegar hún tekur sér höfundarnafn kennir hún sig við það. (...) Guðrún tregaði ekki liðna tíð og óskrifaðar sögur heldur yfirvann smám saman allar torfærur sem urðu í vegi hverrar konu sem vildi verða rithöfundur í upphafi 20. aldarinnar“ (1). Margar af sögum Guðrúnar voru innblásnar af staðnum og lífinu þar í sveitinni (2).
