Keilisnes er „milli Flekkuvíkur og Kálfatjarnar. Efst á nesinu, skammt frá gamla þjóðveginum, er varða sem Stefánsvarða heitir, á hæð sem við hana er kennd. Þaðan er mikið útsýni yfir Faxaflóa“ (1). Á nesinu koma fallegar klettamyndanir upp á fjöru. Svæðið er tilvalið til gönguferða, s.s. frá Vatnsleysustrandarvegi, frá býlinu Bakka eða eyðibýlinu Flekkuvík. Leiðirnar eru þó ekki merktar (2).
