„Hraunsrétt er hlaðin úr hraungrjóti, mjög sérstakt og fallegt handbragð. Hún var fyrst byggð 1838 en stækkuð um 1900. Unnið er að endurhleðslu hennar. Hraunsrétt er fyrir fjallskil af Þeistareykjaafrétti og oftast er réttað þar fyrsta sunnudag í september.“
