About Hólmarnir
Hólmarnir eru áhugaverður staður í Grímsey. Þeir eru staðsettir við norðurenda tjarnar sem liggur við leiðina frá þorpinu út á flugvöllinn. Hólmarnir eru tveir höfðar við ströndina en þar segir sagan að fyrstu landnemar Grímseyjar séu heygðir. Maður, Grímur að nafni, og kona hans sigldu til Íslands ásamt fjölskyldu sinni frá Sognafirðinum í Noregi. Þau settust að í Grímsey og er sagt að Grímur og og kona hans séu heygð í sitthvorum hólmanum.
