„Tveim stuttum bæjarleiðum fyrir framan Þórhallastaði er lítill grashóll með bolla ofaní, sem Glámsþúfa heitir. Hóll þessi er nú friðlýstur og er sagður vera haugur Gláms, það er að, þar undir liggur draugurinn Glámur er Grettir glímdi við. Samkvæmt Grettissögu þá átti glíma Grettis við Glám sér stað á Þórhallastöðum.“
