Reykjadalur is accessed via a hiking trail from a parking area 5 km east of Hveragerði. The trail is 3.5 km one way (7 km round trip) with moderate elevation gain. At the river, there are changing facilities and wooden platforms for entering the water. The temperature ranges from 37-43°C depending on where you bathe. Bring: - Swimwear - Towel - Hiking boots - Water and snacks The trail can be icy in winter — microspikes recommended.
