We offer Boat Tours on the majestic Fjallsárlón Glacier Lagoon.
Fjallsárlón is an isolated glacial lagoon in the realm of Vatnajökull. Arriving to the lagoon is like stepping into a dreamlike world that offers spectacular sights. Iceland's tallest volcano, the Öræfajökull glacier, looms above the lagoon and reaches down to the water where icebergs break off into the lake and drift serenely around before melting. During the tour we will take you on a journey through time and tell you how the local farmers had to struggle with the forces of nature in their daily lives. We invite you to experience the breathtaking natural scenery as we take you on a guided boat tour along floating icebergs and giant glaciers! Total duration 75-90 minutes thereof 45 min. boat tour.
If you prefer you can always book a Private Iceberg Boat Tour with us. Each boat can take up to 10 persons, or even just one or two! Perfect for photographers who need to handle their equipment spaciously, couples, small groups... Come and try our Iceberg Boat Tour!

Boat tour, warm flotation jacket and a life vest will be provided during the tour.
Gott að vita
It is good to wear good shoes for walking as the boats are about 5-min walking distance away. A warm hat and gloves are also recommended. Also don´t forget your camera!
Please check in at the tour reception 5-10 minutes before scheduled tour.

*Note that in the event the client requests a refund for any reason, Tour Desk reserves the right to charge a 3% administration fee to cover costs incurred.
