Exploring Thórsmörk – A Hiker’s Paradise. We are adaptable and most willing to use our hiking boots if groups are interested in hiking some of the trails and treks in Thorsmork.

Your Adventure Begins
We start the day with pickup in Reykjavík, heading out along the scenic South Coast Road. As we pass through the Hellisheidi Geothermal Area, you’ll witness steaming vents and lava fields before reaching the charming towns of Hella and Hvolsvöllur.

Exploring Thórsmörk – A Hiker’s Paradise
At Básar, our favorite spot in Thorsmörk, we take a lunch break before setting off on an optional one-hour guided hike through the valley’s diverse landscapes. If you’re feeling adventurous, we can tailor the hike to be more challenging—just let us know! Thorsmork is home to legendary trails, including the famous Fimmvorduhals Pass, making it a dream destination for hikers.
For travelers that are interested in testing and enjoy some of the trails and treks in Thorsmork, we adaptable and most willing to use our hiking boots.
Food and drinks are not included but we will stop at store where it is possible to buy soft drinks and snack for the day. It is also possible to buy lunch in at Básar Cabin in Thorsmork.
Return to Reykjavík
After soaking in the beauty of Thorsmork, we begin our drive back to Reykjavík, arriving in the evening with incredible memories of Iceland’s wild and rugged highlands.
