Start your Private Golden Circle Palladium Day Tour with a visit to the Kerid volcano crater. This striking volcanic Crater Lake is known for its vibrant red volcanic rock and vivid blue waters, creating a breathtaking contrast. The caldera, which is approximately 3,000 years old, offers a unique glimpse into Iceland's volcanic past.
Next, we drive forward to the majestic Gullfoss waterfall, one of the most powerful waterfalls in the country, fed by the Langjökull glacier. Gullfoss, which translates to "Golden Falls," cascades dramatically into a rugged canyon, with a thundering roar that showcases nature's raw power.
A short drive away is the Geysir Geothermal Area, where we’ll witness the eruption of geysers. The most famous geyser, Strokkur, erupts every few minutes, shooting boiling water up to 30 meters in the air. It's an awe-inspiring display of geothermal energy that never fails to surprise and delight.
Afterward, it’s time to head to Friðheimar Tomato Farm for lunch. Here you will see and learn how Iceland sustains its local food production year-round using the geothermal heat in the area. Doubling as a horse breeding farm, you will also have the opportunity to meet the friendly Icelandic horse, depending on availability.
After lunch, we continue on to explore another farm famous for its dairy products, where we will enjoy ice cream made from the farm's fresh milk.
Then we head to the true highlight of the Golden Circle region: the serene and historic grounds of Þingvellir National Park. Scarred by the separating continental plates, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is perfect for leisurely walks in beautiful nature and offers a profound sense of history, being the site of Iceland's ancient parliament.
With memories etched and spirits replenished, we bid adieu to the Golden Circle, returning to Reykjavík with hearts full and souls enriched by the wonders of Iceland's pristine landscapes.

- Pickup is offered at all Reykjavik hotels, hostels and guesthouses, private homes. As buses are not allowed to drive in certain areas of Reykjavik centre, your pick up may be from the nearest bus stop. Your Hotel reception will help you find it.
- We send reconfirmation email about pickup time and location 6 to 24 hours before the tour departure. Please kindly check your email when you are in Iceland.
- Minimum numbers apply if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements, in the event of this occurring, you will be offered the same tour different departure time.
