The Golden Circle Saga is a private journey to the three essential Golden Circle stops — Þingvellir, Geysir, and Gullfoss — guided by an expert storyteller in a powerful, custom-built Superjeep.
Your Superjeep is equipped with a roaring 6.2L V8 engine and massive 44-inch tires, combining comfort with capability as you explore Iceland’s legendary landscapes.
Our adventure begins in Þingvellir, the birthplace of Iceland’s parliament in the year 930. Walking through this UNESCO site, you’ll hear stories of Viking chieftains, feuds, ancient laws, and the founding moments that shaped Icelandic identity — all set between the drifting tectonic plates of two continents.
Next, we visit the geothermal fields of Geysir, where the earth breathes through steam vents, bubbling pools, and the reliable eruptions of Strokkur. Your guide will share tales of the old Norse gods, Icelandic beliefs rooted in the power of the earth, and the geothermal forces that have shaped life here for centuries.
Our final highlight is the mighty Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls. Feel the glacial river thunder into the canyon as you hear the dramatic story of Sigríður Tómasdóttir, whose determination and courage helped preserve this natural treasure for future generations.
Throughout the tour, your guide brings each location to life with Viking sagas, folklore, and cultural history, creating a richer, deeper experience than standard sightseeing.
