„Þetta er skemmtileg hringleið sem tilvalið er að taka frá Borgarfirði og hentar öllum. Gengið er eftir vegslóðanum sem liggur til Breiðuvíkur og beygt út af honum við Fagrahól og gengið upp á tind Svartfells (510m) Brúnavíkurmegin. Fallegt útsýni er af toppnum yfir Borgarfjörð og Brúnavík. Á toppnum er að finna gestabók sem allir eiga að skrifa í. Farið er sömu leið niður af fjallinu en gengið á Hofstrandarmælinn sem er í fjallinu miðju. Svartfellshlíðarnar eru fallegt framhlaup sem hefur myndast einhvern tíma eftir síðastliðna ísöld.“
