Sigalda Power Station uses water stored in Krókslón behind the Sigalda dam and is part of Landsvirkjun's chain of hydropower stations in the Þjórsá area. It is operating infrastructure in the Highlands, not a general-access tourist building. Visitors should use public roads and designated viewpoints and observe current construction or access restrictions.
