Listaverkið Seiður eftir Einar Hákonarson var það afhjúpað á bæjarhátíðinni Hamingjudögum á Hólmavík sumarið 2012. Listamaðurinn hefur verið búsettur á Hólmavík síðustu ár og gaf sveitarfélaginu Strandabyggð verkið. „Seiður stendur við hafnarsvæðið á Hólmavík, neðan við Brennuhól sem Hólmavíkurkirkja stendur á, og setur svip á þorpið. Hefur listaverkið verið vinsælt myndefni heimamanna og gesta frá því það var sett upp, enda hægt að velja um margan fallegan bakgrunn og mörg skemmtileg sjónarhorn“.
