Gamalt kotbýli sem stendur við ósnortinn fjörukambinn, yst við Kópnesbraut á Hólmavík. Býlið var reist um 1920 og var að hluta til hlaðið úr grjóti (1). „Kópnes-kotið er mjög sérstakt og með mikla sérstöðu í bæjarmynd Hólmavíkur. Það minnir mjög á þá þurrabúðagerð sem steinbæirnir spruttu af í Reykjavík og víðar. Útihúsin eru ómissandi hluti af heildarmyndinni sem er afar heilsteypt, lítið kot á litlu nesi með tún og ósnortið flæðarmál allt í kring. Afar ljóðrænt hús og geðþekkt. Húsið afbragðsgott dæmi um smábúskap inni í þéttbýli á fyrri hluta 20. aldar“ (2). Hugmyndir eru uppi um að gera húsin upp í upprunalegri mynd, íbúðarhús og útihús (1).
