„Séra Sigurður Jensson byggði Klausturhóla árið 1900. Húsið stendur efst á háhrygg Flateyjar, austan við kirkjuna og Bókhlöðuna, skammt vestan við þar sem talið er að Flateyjarklaustur hafi staðið. Séra Sigurður bjó í húsinu til ársins 1921, Jón sonur hans eftir það til ársins 1924 og ekkja hans enn lengur. Húsið er nú í eigu afkomenda séra Sigurðar Jenssonar sem eru að gera það upp.“
