About Hafnarhús – Reykjavík Art Museum
Hafnarhús is the harbour branch of the Reykjavík Art Museum, housed in a converted 1930s warehouse on the Old Harbour waterfront. It specialises in contemporary and modern Icelandic art and is famous for its permanent collection of works by pop-art icon Erró, whose donation of over 4,000 artworks forms the centrepiece of the museum.
