It is said that the seals possessed a human-like intelligence and would often communicate with the villagers. Some tales even speak of seal-folk, beings who could shed their skin and walk among humans. This harmonious relationship, however, eventually faded, leaving behind only the echoes of a forgotten era and the lingering presence of the seals in the valley's waters.
