Private Northern Lights Exploration tour gives you a unique opportunity to enjoy the spectacle of the Northern Lights on your own terms and gives you direct access to our expert guide. To go into the dark, frozen winter night and observe an unbelievable display of color, light and texture, is like waking up in a fairy-tale, full of mystery and magic. We pick you up at your accommodation in Reykjavík and drive out to the countryside away from electric glow and city sounds. The tour is a private excursion were you control the time spent on each location, in collaboration with your guide.

- The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and beyond our control. They are visible in Iceland from late August through April but visibility is subject to light activity and cloud coverage
- We cannot guarantee sightings even if the tour is operated. We offer free cancellation up until 6 hours before departure in case of bad forecast

For all bookings of day tours, a minimum of 24 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice, no refund is given.
For all bookings of multi-day and custom private tours, a minimum of 72 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 72 hours' notice, no refund is given*
*Note that in the event the client requests a refund for any reason, Tour Desk reserves the right to charge a 3% administration fee to cover costs incurred.
