The park is also home to Silfra Fissure, famous for its exceptionally clear glacial water. View multiple scenic film sites.

Laugarvatn – Lakeside Views and taste of thermal baked “Rye bread”

Enjoy the peaceful scenery of Laugarvatn, a charming village known for its geothermal activity and lakeside spa, Laugarvatn Fontana. We’ll also visit Efstidalur II, a family-run dairy farm where you can sample local food and their famous homemade ice cream.

Geysir Geothermal Area

Witness Iceland’s geothermal power at the Geysir area, with bubbling mud pools, steaming vents, and hot springs. Watch Strokkur erupt every few minutes, shooting boiling water up to 20–30 metres into the air.

Gullfoss Waterfall

Explore Kerið, a colourful volcanic crater with steep red slopes and a vivid lake at its centre—a perfect final stop for memorable photographs.

Winter Bonus – Northern Lights

During winter, we’ll keep an eye out for the Northern Lights on the return journey. If conditions are favourable, we’ll do our best to stop for a viewing opportunity. This is included at no extra cost, although sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Summer Special – Nesjavellir Scenic Route

In summer, enjoy a scenic drive through Nesjavellir, known for its volcanic landscapes, mountain views, and geothermal activity. An alternative route is used when seasonal road closures apply.
