GeoSea abrió en 2018 en una cima de acantilado sobre el puerto de Húsavík — una instalación de baños geotérmicos de mar donde el agua salada oceánica extraída del fondo del mar se mezcla con agua geotérmica para crear las piscinas. El entorno es excepcional: las piscinas están posicionadas en el borde del acantilado para que los bañistas miren directamente sobre la bahía de avistamiento de ballenas de Skjálfandi y las montañas más allá.
