Story
Garðabær Golf Club grew up alongside the suburb itself — as the town expanded outwards from Reykjavík in the post-war decades, the club became a community anchor. Weekend tournaments, junior clinics and summer competitions have been part of suburban life here for generations. The course is particularly beloved for its autumn rounds, when the low golden light of September transforms even a bogey into a beautiful experience.
