About this experience

Get ready for an unforgettable day exploring Iceland's iconic Golden Circle—a journey through some of the country's most stunning natural wonders. This tour will take you through a trio of awe-inspiring sights, with a bonus nighttime adventure that will leave you starry-eyed.

Stop 1: Thingvellir National Park

Your first stop is the majestic Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you’ll be walking between two tectonic plates! Feel the thrill as you literally straddle the continents of North America and Eurasia. Wander through the dramatic rift valleys, crystal-clear glacial waters, and the rich history of this ancient Viking assembly ground. If you're a fan of nature or history, you'll feel the magic in the air.

Stop 2: Laugavatn Warm lake

Laugarvatn is a shallow lake, about 2 km2 in size, and is located in the inlands of Árnessýsla, Under its floor, there are hot springs heating the lake so it is warm and suitable for bathing all year round, and to view how locals make the traditional bred named Rúbrauð, straight rye bread. On its bank rests a village of over 300 inhabitants, also named Laugarvatn.

Stop 3: Brúarfoss

Next up, Brúarfoss, often referred to as Iceland's "hidden gem," is a stunning waterfall nestled in the picturesque landscape of southwestern Iceland.Brúarfoss is fed by the Brúará River, one of Iceland's largest spring-fed rivers. The river originates in productive, sparkling springs from underneath a huge lava field east of the river. The name Brúarfoss translates to "Bridge Fall," a fitting moniker given the picturesque footbridge that spans the river just upstream from the falls, adding a unique and charming element to the scenery.

Stop 4: Gullfoss Waterfall

No Golden Circle tour is complete without witnessing the raw beauty of Gullfoss, the "Golden Waterfall." Watch as the glacial waters of the Hvítá River thunder down two tiers into a deep canyon, creating an incredible mist that catches the light just perfectly. You’ll hear the roar of the waterfall long before you see it—nature’s soundtrack at its finest.

Bonus Adventure: Northern Lights Hunt!

As the sun sets and you begin your return to Reykjavik, the adventure isn’t over yet. Your guide will lead you on a hunt for the Northern Lights, Iceland’s magical aurora borealis. Venture off the main roads to dark, remote spots far away from the city lights. If the skies are clear and luck is on your side, you'll witness a spectacular light show as ribbons of green, purple, and pink dance across the night sky. It’s a jaw-dropping finale to an extraordinary day.

Wrap up your tour back in Reykjavik, with your camera full of memories and your heart full of wonder, having experienced not just the natural highlights of Iceland but also a glimpse of the Northern Lights, one of nature’s most elusive phenomena.

Adventure, beauty, and magic—all in one epic day!
