„Svartagljúfur er gljúfrið að Hengladalaá, þar sem hún fellur ofan af heiðinni í Svartagljúfursfoss“ (1). „Hengladalaá kemur úr Hengladölum og rennur fyrir Ásstaðafjall í Reykjadalsá norðaustan Kamba.“ Hægt er að ganga upp með ánni en í henni má sjá nokkra fallega fossa (2).
